URNE
Formed from the ashes of the much-loved groove metal outfit Hang The Bastard, London three-piece URNE (pronounced “Urn”) are to set to release one of the most impressive metal EPs of 2018. Having played together for many years, including in Hang The Bastard, as well as progressive metal outfit Chapters, bassist/vocalist Joe Nally and guitarist Angus Neyra were keen to continue working together after Hang The Bastard called it a day, and thus URNE rose from the ashes. Add to the mix the talented drum skills of Richard Wiltshire and from their base in South London, their debut EP, The Mountain of Gold has been expertly crafted.
The Mountain of Gold has been produced and mastered by none other than long time friend of the band, Josh Middleton of Architects and Sylosis. The drums for the EP have also been engineered by Craig Reynolds of Stray From The Path, adding some superstar power behind the scenes to what was already an EP designed to pummel the senses and delight metal fans in equal measure.
